The Garmin eTrex 30x Handheld Western Europe GPS Navigation Unit is a fantastic durable GPS unit designed to be used on foot, in cars, on ATVs, bikes and even in hot air balloons; enabling you to know where you’re going even when you’re in the middle of nowhere.

Find Your Way

To help you find your way more easily, the eTrex 30x has a range of features designed to make navigation as simple as possible. A three-axis tilt-compensated compass shows which way you’re heading even if you’re not moving or holding the unit flat, ensuring that you can continue to find your way even if you stop for a rest.

The unit also features a barometric altimeter, enabling you to track your altitude with incredible precision, and can even be used to measure barometric pressure over time – ideal for checking changing weather conditions. Whatever the weather may be, the eTrex 30x will be there for you; it’s incredibly durable and waterproof, ensuring you can stay on track.

The eTrex 30x, as well as using the GPS satellite system, also utilises Russian GLONASS satellites for global positioning. Using this satellite system as well as GPS enables the device to locate a position about 20% faster than GPS alone. And thanks to the WASS-enabled and GPS receiver and HotFix satellite prediction, the eTrex 30x can pinpoint your position even in heavy cover and deep canyons.

Big, Clear Display

The eTrex 30x features a big 2.2 inch display which has been designed to be as clear as possible, even in direct sunlight, to ensure you can find your way whatever the weather. The display has a sharp 240 x 320 resolution with 65k colours, making maps and text instantly and clearly readable.

Add Extra Maps and Geocaches

Thanks to the eTrex 30x’s built in 3.7GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD), you can add a range of different maps, trails and geocaches, helping you go further and do more in the great outdoors. The eTrex 30x is compatible with:

• City Navigator NT maps (for turn-by-turn navigation)
• BirdsEye Satellite Imagery (subscription required)

Huge Connectivity Options

The eTrex 30x has been designed to be as versatile as possible. As well as being fantastic to hold, the unit can also be mounted to ATVs, bikes, cars and even hot air balloons. The device can also connect to compatible Garmin devices, including VIRB and accessory sensors such as the Garmin Tempe, Foot Pad and heart rate monitor.

To help you keep going for longer, the unit has an exceptionally long battery life – up to 25 hours – and because it’s powered by AA batteries you can just swap them out once they start to run low, giving you the power you need to keep going.
