Flexyfoot Anatomical Soft Grip Handle Closed Cuff Crutch
If you’ve suffered a lower limb injury, crutches can be an invaluable aid to your recovery, bearing your weight and allowing you to maintain mobility as your injuries heal. However, standard crutch ferrules (the cap at the bottom of the crutch) are prone to transmitting the shock generated when they make contact with the floor, causing pain and discomfort in the upper limbs. Coming fitted with the Flexyfoot ferrule, the Flexyfoot Anatomical Soft Grip Handle Closed Cuff Crutch has been developed to provide a solution to these problems.
Equipped with a specially-designed anatomical handle, this product is designed to significantly alleviate the pain and discomfort that is associated with extended periods of crutch use. The support also helps you walk on rough terrain safely as the Flexyfoot ferrule significantly improves grip.

Shock Absorption
Traditional ferrules (the caps on the bottom of crutches) do not absorb the shock which is generated every time the crutch touches the ground, which then travels through the hand and arm, leading to fatigue and discomfort. The Flexyfoot ferrule’s uniquely designed bellows absorb shock, which in turn can help relieve this pain.
This shock absorption is ideal for people that are suffering from elbow and shoulder pain as a result of using crutches or other walking aids. The Flexyfoot features two parts: a collar and a pleated bellows. The bellows act like a spring to absorb shock, meaning less is transferred to your body compared to traditional rubber ferrules.
Are the Cuffs Hinged?
Yes, the cuffs are hinged. As they can be adjusted, they are more comfortable for you.
Perfect for Rough Terrain
Because the bellows make the ferrule flexible, the Flexyfoot will stay in contact with the ground even over rough terrain, helping to provide greater grip. This can help make you feel more comfortable and secure and allow you to be more active when wearing your crutches.
Ergonomic Design
The Flexyfoot Anatomical Soft Grip Handle Closed Cuff Crutch is built for comfort. Its anatomical grip handle is moulded to the shape of hand, providing maximum comfort by distributing pressure through a larger area. Its closed cuff is designed to keep the crutch connected to the arm, allowing for more freedom of the hands, while clip height adjustment allows an exact fit to be obtained. What’s more, the Closed Cuff Crutch even includes front and rear reflectors for maximum safety in darker environments.
How Tall Is the Anatomical Soft Grip Handle Cuff?
The Anatomical Soft Grip Handle Cuff measures from 75cm to 105cm from the ferrule at the bottom up to the top of the handle. As the height can be adjusted, this helps to ensure that you can use the crutch as comfortably as possible.
