Doctor Life LX7 Compression Machine
The Doctor Life LX7 Compression Machine is a digital lightweight Intermittant Pneumatic Compression Machine (IPC) with hoses and 2 leg cuffs. Made in South Korea, it is designed and built by the world-renowned Daesung Maref, who have a 90% market share in Korea for IPC and sells to 30 countries around the world.
The Doctor Life LX7 Compression Machine is incredibly lightweight, and helps to stimulate venous emptying and improve arterial circulation, making it ideal for people who suffer from Lymphoedema.
How does the Doctor Life LX7 Compression Machine work?
The Doctor Life LX7 Compression Machine delivers Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) to legs. The leg is surrounded by an inflatable cuff with several chambers, which are inflated in sequence so that there is a wave of compression travelling up the limb in short bursts. This makes venous emptying much easier and helps increase the circulation. The chambers inflate from the foot to the thigh and stay inflated until the compression cycle is over.
What can the Doctor Life LX7 Compression Machine be used for?
An Intermittent Pneumatic Compression machine can be used at home to help with a variety of conditions:
- Deep Vein Thrombosis
- Lymphoedema
- Chronic oedema of venous origin
- Chronic Venous Insufficiency
- Dependent oedema
The Doctor Life LX7 Compression Machine can also be used to help treat Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease (PAOD) under strict medical supervision. Because it helps to promote active circulation in the legs, it’s great for poor blood flow in arteries, and can also help prevent and treat varicose veins. It’s incredibly restful and calming, making it great for relieving stress in elderly and hospitalised patients, and can also prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis.
The Doctor Life Leg cuff measures 76cm circumference (at the top of the leg) and 98cm in length.
