How Can I Use The Thera Putty?

The putty can be used for a variety of hand, wrist, and fingers exercises which help to build strength, dexterity, flexibility, fine motor skills, and range of motion. The following examples are common exercises that the Thera Putty can be used for:

Place the putty in the centre of your palm and squeeze it so that you are making a fist
Using only your injured or affected hand, squeeze the putty into a ball and then a cube
Roll the putty into a sausage shape and weave it between your fingers, then try to stretch out your fingers against the resistance of the putty
Roll the putty into a ball and place between two out-stretched fingers, then bring the fingers together so they are squeezing against the putty
Hide a coin in the thera-putty for your child to find and take out (ideal for developing fine motor skills)

What Strength Therapy Putty Should I Choose?

There are six different colour variations of CanDo Therapy Putty, each coinciding with a different strength, or level of resistance. The colours and strengths include:

The higher the strength of the Thera Putty, the tougher it will be to stretch and mould.
